My name is Arnol Farmer and I was born in Alaska in 1957. In 2007, I was at the Red Dog mine in the Northern Alaska Region when the Lord opened the door for me to have bible studies. This was the start of revival at the mine and Noorvik, also Kiana. 54 coworkers were baptized in the jacuzzi at the mine. In 2010, I was invited to Noorvik for revival services and the rest is history.By 2012 my wife and I moved to Kiana to live full time…between 2011-2012 I learned to fly. Now we use our plane like like a station wagon because there is no roads in between villages. We have built a new church in Kiana and have another congregation in Noorvik. We won Wesley Sommers and his wife and they are now pastoring the two churches. My wife and I have a burden to reach all of the villages we can with the gospel of Christ,so we are basing our flying outreach operations out of Kiana.
My name is Stacy Sprague. I am a licensed minister in the United Pentecostal Church. I am the Bus ministry Director at Life Church serving under pastor Blackshear. I built the bus ministry from the ground up. I Found ways to fund this ministry without the church as its’ means. Everything possible has been done to reach people in Alaska through this ministry. Life Church is located on the complete opposite side of town from which the guests come. So we started doing a Bible study on the side of town which was available for travel. And now we are running a 73 average. We are pretty much at capacity and are ready to open more services weekly. People are walking, bicycling, and taking the bus to the new location, which we do bus ministry. Over the last 12 years this bus ministry has brought 8500 people to church. We’ve had over 1600 people filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. And over 400 water baptisms. We are in search for a building for room to grow. I am excited to see what God will do..
Rev. Todd Welcher, originally from Indianapolis, IN, earned his Bachelor’s in Theology at Indiana Bible College, where he met his future wife, Danielle. Their journey together led them to Danielle’s home state of Alaska, and blessed them with three beautiful boys: Micah, Silas, and Luke. He currently enjoys working as the AKY Youth President with the best young people in the nation, as well as the life-changing adventure of planting a church in Anchorage Alaska. While his career is rooted in the medical field, Todd’s true passion lies in preaching, teaching Bible studies and watching Jesus change lives. Outside of his professional life, he treasures time with Danielle and their boys, delves into theology and American history, competes in running events, and explores the breathtaking beauty of Alaska.

The Alaska Yukon North American mission's sole purpose is to start new churches in communities without current churches. From starting new works in larger cities to remote villages, we are committed to bringing God's light into the Arctic region.
Our purpose is to give the men and women of the district the training, support, and direction necessary to succeed in planting new preaching points, daughter works, and eventually full-functioning churches.
